This chapter describes the problems that you may encounter when installing MYQSL, or configure the server and MYSQL database.

The general rule here is that the ExitCode for each operation must be zero = 0.

Problems that may arise can be divided into two groups;

1. Problems encountered during installation MYSQL

These problems are very rare. If, however, occur, it is usually due to that previously were already installed some of the items for MYSQL, or for components supporting .Pgrams or data for MySQL are installed in a directory

 

 

 

 

If a any ExitCode for the installation process is different from zero then you must  check the contents of those directories and components. . I recommend uninstalling MySQL server and other software products by use RevoUninstaller and restart MYSQL_INSTALL_AUTOMATIC_ALL_COMPONENT_AND_CONFIGURE_IT.exe.There only here you have to be careful because some components may be used by other programs such as Microsoft_Visuall_C _ ++ redistuable_runtime_package and file  vcredist_x86.exe or Net_Framework_4.0 or by the installation file dotNetFx40_Full_setup.exe. The program MYSQL_INSTALL_AUTOMATIC_ALL_COMPONENT_AND_CONFIGURE_IT.exe after the completion of the installation process go  to the  configure database for the user and determine the password and privileges

 

2. Problems when configuring MySQL

When configuring MySQL is created  database AWARDS_BASE and creates a user USER_AWARDS the password user_awards. User has access to all the privileges but only on the basis of AWARD_BASE, all the problems which occur when configuring occurs because the  Windows and especially Windows 10, switching off mysqld. exe. Appear  a screen  with ExitCode <> 0.

If you receive this error, then you should see in the Task Manager  if is running the process mysqld.exe.

If in a Menager tasks is  lack of this process, it should attempt to run it by  hand as follows. As an example that after an upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10, mysqld.exe is normally turned off .It seems that  Microsoft is trying to cut the competition and allow to work only on their programs or registered in Microsoft (what you pay dearly).

If everything goes correctly, it appears at the moment of the black window , and Processor tasks should appear mysqld.exe process .However, in this case certainly shows a window with the windows asking if you want to allow the program mysqld exe work, You should then allow work mysqld.exe. I find it hard at the moment to show this window because it shows up only once, and then have Windows remembers that he has let the work of this program.

Mysqld.exe is basically the MySQL service , which should start automatically if needed, why you still need to check in services, whether it is configured correctly .In Windows 10 transition to services is easy
